Victoria J. Fabry

Dr. Fabry testifying before the U.S. Senate Committee on  Commerce, Science, and Transportation on 9/21/2004

Professor of Biological Sciences, Professor of Biological Sciences, Ph.D. Biology: University of California Santa Barbara. Dr. Fabry is a biological oceanographer whose research interests encompass the role of marine organisms in geochemical cycles. Her current research is focused on: (1) the sensitivity of calcareous organisms and marine ecosystems to elevated carbon dioxide and ocean acidification; and (2) the dissolution kinetics of biogenic calcium carbonates in the upper ocean.
