FlexCash is an optional benefit plan which
allows employees to waive CSU medical and/or dental insurance
plan(s) in exchange for cash if covered by other non-CSU
insurance. Employees who do not have CSU paid medical and/or
dental coverage receive additional cash in monthly paychecks.
Employees are required to certify on the FlexCash enrollment form
that they have alternative non-CSU medical and/or dental
coverage(s).
New employees have 60 calendar days from
appointment date to elect FlexCash or eligible employees may
enroll in the FlexCash Plan during the May open enrollment
period, for coverage effective August 1. FlexCash booklets are available from Human Resources
