Marisol Clark-Ibáñez, Ph.D. Dr. Clark-Ibáñez joined the Sociology Department at CSUSM in the Fall of 2003. Her research interests are in education, childhood, inequality, qualitative methodology, visual sociology, gender, race, social relationships, and globalization. In the 2007-2008 she is teaching Introduction to Sociology, Child and Society, Sociology of Education, Teaching Sociology (graduate course). She enjoys working with students and is a recent recipient of Faculty Advocate Award from the Educational Opportunity Program and Student Support Services (2007).
