Graduate Program

The mission of the Master of Arts in Sociological Practice at California State University San Marcos is to provide a superior academic and professional education to students interested in working with human services and criminal justice agencies, teaching at a community college, or continuing study for a Ph.D.  The program includes theory, qualitative and quantitative methods, field experience and applied research.  We are committed to combining traditional sociological theory and research with sociology’s rich tradition of studying social problems.

Students who have additional questions about the graduate program can contact the MASP Coordinator by emailing Dr. Sharon Elise.
