University Budget Committee (UBC)

The University Budget Committee is an advisory body to the President and Executive Council charged with the following primary responsibilities for AY 09/10:

1. Acquire knowledge and understanding of the State of California, California State University and CSUSM budgetary processes.
2. Understand the components of the University’s Multi-Year Budget Model.
3. Facilitate communication of the University’s operating budget that is transparent, informative, and participatory.
4. Using the University Strategic Budget Development Process developed by the University Budget Committee and approved by the President and Executive Council, engage in a consultative process for reviewing division budget proposals and developing recommendations to the President regarding budget allocations to the campus' operating budget for FY 2010-2011.
