Student Achievement Measure (SAM) Logo 
The Student Achievement Measure (SAM)

The Student Achievement Measure (SAM) tracks student movement across postsecondary institutions to provide a more complete picture of undergraduate student progress and completion within the higher education system. SAM is an alternative to the federal graduation rate, which is limited to tracking the completion of first-time, full-time students at one institution.

Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC)
CSU San Marcos is accredited by the Senior College Commission of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), one of six regional associations that accredit public and private schools, colleges, and universities in the United States.

Clery Report - Campus Safety
Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act. This Act requires CSU San Marcos to distribute the following information to all current and potential students and employees.

Required Disclosures
Federal Regulations (Part 668.41 - Student Assistance General Provisions) mandate that a Notice of Required Disclosures be provided to all enrolled students on an annual basis and to all prospective students. A list of the required disclosures, summary descriptions, and information to obtain a detailed copy of each disclosure.
