Silvia Grover's Advising Philosophy
As a CSUSM Academic Advisor, my job is to help students navigate and understand the requirements that are required to graduate with a Bachelors degree in Human Development or Psychology.
The information I provide requires students to take responsibility for their education. I'm more than happy work with students to help them understand the requirements and create education plans that can facilitate graduation.
I value a students time and I expect the same in return. If you are more than 15 minutes late for an appointment, the UAS receptionist will kindly ask the student to reschedule for another time.
I expect all CSUSM students who visit the UAS Advising office to have a respectful attitude to the UAS office staff and Advisors. We all work hard with limited resources.
