Welcome to Advisor Academy!

Advisor Academy was developed in response to the recommendations of Advising Services Committee (2003) and the Faculty Advisor Role Advisory Committee (2005).  Both committees identified the need to institutionalize training and development for faculty and staff advisors on an ongoing basis. August 2006 was the inaugural year of Advisor Academy.  While Advisor Academy has been established with academic advisors specifically in mind, all CSUSM faculty and staff are welcome to attend the workshops to expand their knowledge and interact with members of the campus community.
