Former Student Information
What is a former student?
A former student is an individual who has attended CSUSM in the past, did not complete his/her undergraduate degree and may be interested in the possibility of returning to complete graduation requirements in order to obtain a diploma from CSUSM.
If you have already earned a degree from CSUSM, please do not complete the Former Student Request Form.
Before we get started, please note:
- Students are held individually responsible for meeting the requirements outlined in the University Catalog.
- As long as a student maintains continuous attendance at CSUSM, or a combination of CSU campuses and California Community Colleges, his/her catalog rights are protected, and thus his/her catalog term(s) for the graduation requirements are protected.
- If a student has not maintained continuous attendance at CSUSM, or a combination of CSU campuses and California Community Colleges, remaining requirements for a degree may have changed in the student's absence.
- For more information on catalog rights, please refer to the current University Catalog.
Please answer the following:
Has it been 10 years or more since you were last enrolled in courses at CSUSM?
