The Career Center and Academic Advising are here to help!
Your freshman year is the perfect time for you to explore courses that you find interesting*. Career Counselors can help you determine what major to choose based on your interests, skills, aptitudes, values and personality and Academic Advisors can help guide you on requirements needed to graduate.
If you have an idea of what major you would like to pursue:
Schedule an advising appointment. This will ensure that you are meeting with an Academic Advisor who is fully knowledgeable about the major.
If you are still undecided:
Visit the Career Center to learn more about what career and educational opportunities would be a good match for you.
*Remember, many majors include specific lower-division courses that can also meet General Education requirements, so choosing a major early will assist in a more timely graduation.
