Limit on Course Registration Units for Fall 2011

Due to ongoing State of California budget discussions and the potential for further cuts, CSUSM must limit course offerings for Fall 2011.  Therefore, in order to allow as many students as possible to select from available courses, CSUSM is implementing a 17 unit limit for fall 2011 undergraduate registration.  For students who have applied on time to graduate in fall 2011, this form may be used as an appeal process to request exception to the credit hour limit.

Exceptions will be granted for the following reasons only:

  1. Military or veteran students with a mandated completion date.
  2. Fall 2011 on-time graduation applicants.

If you meet the above criteria, please submit an Exception to Unit Limitation Petition to the following locations:

  • College of Business Administration Majors: Markstein Hall 126
  • Integrated Credential Program: University Hall 214
  • School of Nursing Majors: PPH Building, Suite 201
  • All other majors: Craven Hall 1300
