Limit on Course Registration Units for Spring 2013
Due to increased demand for enrollment, CSU San Marcos will be implementing a “first pass” process for registration similar to that at other CSUs. Through priority registration, beginning on November 15, and continuing until December 17, undergraduate students will be allowed to register for up to 13 units and to waitlist for no more than 8 units. On Monday, December 17, the 13-unit registration limit will be lifted, and students will then be able to register for up to 17 units. These registration and waitlist limits are intended to provide a reasonable class schedule for all students in spring 2013 and to ensure that as many students as possible are able to attain full-time status for financial aid purposes.
Exceptions to the unit limit policy will be granted for the following reasons only:
- Military or veteran students with a mandated completion date.
- Spring 2013 on-time graduation applicants.
If you meet the above criteria, please submit an Exception to Unit Limitation Petition to one of the following locations:
- College of Business Administration majors: Markstein Hall 126
- Integrated Credential Program majors: University Hall 221
- Nursing majors: PPH Building, Suite 201
- All other majors: Craven Hall 1300
