ADMISSIONS INFORMATION SESSIONS

Campus Tours & Admissions Information Sessions

Our campus visit program includes a 20-minute overview of CSU San Marcos and the admissions process as well as as student-led campus tour.  Campus visits are offered Monday through Friday at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. except during holiday closures. There is no reservation necessary for these walking tours. Guests should plan to spend 90 minutes on campus and should arrive 5 minutes prior to tour-time at Cougar Central located on the third floor of Craven Hall, Room 3900. Please plan to purchase a temporary parking permit to park in any student parking lot. Student parking lots B and C are located closest to Craven Hall. As the tour will leave promptly, please allow enough time to park and walk to Craven Hall.

Students who already have a bachelor's degree and wish to receive graduate admissions information and/or advising should contact the academic department directly.

How do I make an Appointment? What do I need to bring?

Appointments are not necessary for the Admissions Information Sessions. Printed material will be provided in the session. You do not need to bring copies of transcripts or test scores as evaluations will not be conducted as part of these sessions. Evaluation for admission is only conducted at the time of application to the university.

When I Visit, Where do I Park?

Please plan on purchasing a temporary parking permit to park in any student parking lot. The permit rates are: $6.00 for a one-day permit, or $2.00 for a one-hour permit (Yellow permit meters accept quarters and dollar bills only.) Vehicles without a permit are subject to citation from Parking Services.
