Spring 2011 Admissions
CSU San Marcos is accepted applications from:
- First Time Freshman Applicants (closed)
- Lower Division Transfers Applicants (closed)
- Upper Division Transfer Applicants (closed)
- Credential/Graduate Applicants (Select Programs)
- International Applicants (closed)
Steps to Apply for Admission:
- Submit an application and application fee to CSU San Marcos via CSU Mentor (csumentor.edu).*
- Submit required documents to complete the application file.
- Check your application status on MyCSUSM.
- Submit an Intent to Enroll and Enrollment Deposit (admitted students).
- Register for Orientation (admitted students) by January 11, 2011.
- Submit a final, official transcript indicating completion of all admissions requirements (admitted students).
Documents Required to Complete Application:
- First Time Freshmen: Official high school transcript and official scores from the ACT or SAT Reasoning exam.
- Lower Division Transfer: Official high school transcript, official transcripts from all colleges attended and official scores from the ACT or SAT Reasoning exam.
- Upper Division Transfer: Official transcripts from all colleges/universities attended.
- Credential/Graduate: Official transcripts from all colleges/universities attended. Program application to academic department.
*Applicants whose fall 2010 application was not accommodated due to to campus impaction may request that the fall 2010 application fee be transferred to a spring 2011 application by contacting apply@csusm.edu.
