Enhance Your Experience

You Belong Here. It’s hard to come up with one definition that captures what kind of student goes to CSUSM.

They’re a diverse mix of scholars on many different levels, that’s for sure.  It’s an open environment for learning and living where you’re sure to find your place.

CSU San Marcos is committed to a student-centered focus. The campus is a gathering place for more than eighty student organizations, four sororities and four fraternities, multicultural programs, wellness programs, and an active student government, Associated Students Inc. (ASI). ASI offers recreation, intramural and club sports programs, and co-sponsors campus-wide events.  Students will find a variety of concerts, exhibits, and lectures on and near the campus.  The campus opened the new Center for Children & Families in fall 2007 which provides additional on-campus childcare and opportunities for students to gain field experience with children.

The campus intercollegiate athletics program currently includes teams in golf, track, cross country, soccer, baseball, softball, basketball and volleyball.  Teams compete in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).
