ADULT EXCEPTION REQUIREMENTS (60 transferable units or more)

Minimum Requirements for consideration...

• You are 25 years or older,
• have a transfer GPA of 2.0 or better (2.4 for non-residents),
• are in good standing at your last institution of attendance,
• have attended no more than one full-time term in the last five years, and
• the probability of academic success is that of a regularly admitted student.

General Requirement

The Adult Exception criteria is not a guaranteed method for admission. Students seeking admission under the Adult Exception are expected to have completed the General Education Written Composition, College Mathematics, and a demonstrated pattern of student success.

Students may only have one full-time term in the last five years. A full-time term is determined at face-value based on units enrolled and includes those units that are not completed or where a withdrawal or incomplete is received.

Academic success may be demonstrated by successful completion of college coursework specifically in General Education.
