CSUSM Giving Day (November 28, 2017):

Donations can be made through the CSUSM Giving Day website. Please input "Designated for California Indian Culture and Sovereignty Center" in box titled "Specify Designation or Provide Donation Notes".

Donations can be made through the CSUSM secure online giving server. Please select "California Indian Culture and Sovereignty Center" in the drop down menu.

With your generous donation, the CICSC supports our American Indian students is a variety of ways:

  • research and professional development through Center staff positions
  • funding for American Indian college student educations
  • culturally appropriate mentoring and leadership development
  • tribally-relevant, tribally-involved educations

Examples of your donation in action:

  • funding of the first ever State of American Indian Alaskan Native Education in California report
  • preservation of Luiseño language through technology
  • employment of student workers to further educational research
  • hiring of grant writer and research assistant
  • tribal community outreach through events and conferences
  • American Indian graduation honoring ceremony
