Campus Housing For ALCI Students

The on-campus housing, University Village Apartments (UVA), is an apartment-style residence. Four to six students live in each apartment. To apply to UVA, ALCI students must plan to attend one complete semester or a full academic year. Second entry and part-time students may not live in UVA. ALCI students must apply early. UVA fills up many months before each semester. 

Each apartment includes:

  • Private or shared bedrooms
  • A kitchen
  • A furnished living area
  • Furnished rooms
  • Air-conditioning
  • All utilities (local telephone, high-speed internet, and cable TV)

Cost for 2011-2012 academic year (August -May)
Private Bedroom: $9500
Large Shared Bedroom: $8500
Small Shared Bedroom: $6750

Cost for Fall 2011 or Spring 2012 semester
Private Bedroom: $4750
Large Shared Bedroom: $4250
Small Shared Bedroom: $3375

Meals are not included.  Students must bring their own bed linens (or rent them for a fee), appliances, kitchen items, etc.  UVA is managed by a professional staff, which provides student activities, 24-hour student services, and quality maintenance.

A $50 UVA application fee must be submitted with the application. After you submit your application and fee, the UVA staff will contact you to confirm your housing reservation and provide you with payment information.  UVA fees are non-refundable, even if you do not receive a student visa or if your plans change for any reason.
