practices in higher education.

that students acquire knowledge and develop higher-order intellectual skills appropriate
to the level of the degree earned."

In fall 2015, the Core Competencies Team completed a systematic assessment of each Core Competency in order to ascertain the competency level of senior students across campus. At the conclusion of each competency assessment activity, the data was analyzed, and summary reports with recommendations were shared campus-wide.
