April 22 - Women's Golf Wins Regionals!
Cougar women's golf came home from Tuesday's Regionals with some
nice new hardware. The team won the Regional Championship, its
second straight; Carly Ludwig cruised to the individual title; and
Coach Fred Hanover was named Coach of the Year.

March 28 -- Men's Golf Finishes 11th at Cal Pol y;
Conway Ties for 13th
Cal State San Marcos' men's golf team
placed 11th at the Cal Poly Invitational on Friday. Scott
Conway led the squad as usual, tying for 13th.

March 19 -- Women's Golf Finishes 8th, Men 10th
at Diablo Grande; Ludwig Places 6th
The Cougar men’s and women’s golf teams continued their march to
Regionals on Tuesday, competing at the Diablo Grande Invitatational.
The women, led by Carly Ludwig, placed 6th; while
the men, competing without #1 golfer Scott Conway, took 10th.

Cal
State San Marcos’ men’s golf team finished 15th at
the Point Loma/Smee Builder’s Invitational on Tuesday.
Scott Conway was the team’s top finisher, tying for 32nd.

Feb. 19 -- Men's Golf Takes 7th at Carlton Oaks
Invitational
Competing at Carlton Oaks, the Cougar men's golf team placed 7th
at the Carlton Oaks Invitational on Tuesday. Scott Conway led
the way, tying for 14th.

Feb. 12 -- Men's Golf:
Fresno State Wins CSUSM Invitational; Cougars place 6th
Led by individual tournament winner Grant Doverspike, Fresno
State was crowned champion of the CSUSM Men's Golf Invitational on
Tuesday. The Cougars, who hosted the event at local San Luis
Rey Downs, finished 6th.

Feb. 11 -- Men’s Golf Looking Great at CSUSM Invitational;
Tied for 3rd After Round One
Playing on the familiar fairways of San Luis Rey Downs, the Cal
State San Marcos men’s golf team looked very good on Monday, and sit
tied for third after one round. All-American Scott Conway is tied
for second in the individual competition.

tournament action of the spring, three Cougars competed at the SDSU
Intercollegiate Classic on Thursday.

Nov 3 -- College of Desert's Sostuk Wins Fall
Cougar Invitational
Marcus Sostuk won the Fall Cougar Invitational on Saturday,
holding off two players from Orange Coast College. Scott
Conway tied for 4th, making him the Cougars' top finisher.

Nov 2 -- Trio of College of the Desert Golfers
Share Lead at Cougar Fall Invitational
College of the Desert's Marcus Sostuk, Josh Lansing, and Ryan
Indorina share the lead after the first round of the Cougar Fall
Invitational, shooting even-par 71. The top Cougar is Scott
Conway, who is tied for 5th with a +3 (74).

Sept 18 -- Men's Golf Takes 2nd in First
Tourney of Fall
The Cougar men’s golf team got their fall season started in
solid fashion, taking 2nd in the 6-team field at the Mustang
Invitational. Scott Conway was CSUSM’s top finisher, placing 3rd.
