New Softball Recruit:  Ashley Estepa

Coach Kelly Warren is pleased to announce that Ashley Estepa, a senior at Westview High, has made a verbal commitment to join the Cal State San Marcos softball team.

A versatile athlete, Estepa has seen time at shortstop, second base, third base, and in the outfield.  The righty is a two-time All-North County Second Team selection and helped her team to the 2006 Palomar League Championship.  She was named her team’s best offensive player in 2006, and won a 2007 Coca Cola Golden Glove Award.

At Westview, Ashley is the ASI Publicity Officer and a member of the Key Club.  She volunteers at the St. Vincent de Paul Center and helps teach softball clinics at her high school.
