Three Cougar Golfers Compete in SDSU

In the Cougar men’s golf
team’s first tournament action of the spring, three Cougars
competed at the SDSU Intercollegiate Classic on Thursday. The one-day, two-round
tournament is hosted by SDSU, and featured local universities
competing on San Diego Country Club’s par-72 course.
USD won with a total score of +23 (599), with the Aztecs
finishing second at +26 (602).
Point Loma Nazarene and UCSD also competed. For the Cougars, Kevin Riley led
the way, finishing in a tie for 18th.
Riley followed up a first-round 85 with an excellent
second-round 77, one of the best of the tournament.
He finished with a total of 162.
Also competing were Shezad Lakdawala (86, 88) and Kyle
Anderson (86, 89).
