Location: near the town of Patton in Highland, along a foothill of the San Bernardino
Mountains. As your ascend the hill, the road is lined with old eucalyptus, with the
Serrano Cultural Center at the base and the massive casino and parking lot further up. The
Cultural Center houses some artifacts and educational materials. One must submit a written
request for permission to meet with members of the tribal government. Employees in the
guard station at the top of the hill, between the casino and tribal hall, mean business.
Reservation protocol calls for a stop at this guard station before approaching the tribal
hall.
