The SIPs team
worked on the new employee sign-in process. The SIPs found
that our current practice of signing new employees on any given day was one
of our main issues. They have recommended that we sign in new employees
twice a month, dedicating the employee’s first day of work to the sign-in
process. This ensures that all legal compliances are met, and that the new
employees attend orientation. The next step includes review of this
recommendation by the President’s Cabinet for approval to change our process campuswide.
