In support of the Balanced Scorecard objective “Foster customer partnerships”, a team of FAS managers and staff recommended measuring the number of collaborative efforts made by an individual or  group from the FAS division that benefit others.  This measure hypothesizes that more collaborative efforts with customers which are beneficial to both parties will lead to better communication, service, management of resources, and strengthened internal controls.
