Senior Check List

Senior Checklist

All insterested/potential CAMP students should follow below checklist in order to be considered for acceptance into CAMP Program.  Note: Official CAMP Application will be released to students in the Spring Semester. To download a copy click on the link to the right.

Fall 2016

Apply to CSUSM   (October 1st– November 30th)

Establish MyCSUSM Web Portal (within 3 week of applying)

  • Activate your account using your CSUSM ID number. Your ID number will be emailed to you within two weeks of applying to CSUSM
  • Log in at:
    • Check your application status on your MyCSUSM

Financial Aid (Starting October 1st)

Complete CAMP Interest Form (By December)

Apply for EOP (October 1st – February 15th)

  • Students are highly encouraged to start applying for the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) after submitting CSUSM Admissions application at

College Entrance Exams (Start registering by October)

  • Register for the SAT or ACT exams (Contact your high school counselor for fee waivers).
  • To register, send scores, & check status, log in at:

SAT/ACT Scores (Request Day of Exam & check status before December)

Spring 2017

Log in to MyCSUSM Web Portal (Weekly Beginning January )

  • Check: Application Status, SAT/ACT scores have been submitted, & “To Do List”

College Placement Exams (CAMP Priority: Take by February)

  • Unless fully exempt, you must register to take both the ELM & EPT (Math & English) Exams at  (The cost per exam is $18, no fee waiver)

CSUSM Scholarship (Starting January)

Intent to Enroll (CAMP Priority: April)

  • Once offered admission to CSUSM, log in to MyCSUSM account and submit “Intent to Enroll” by May 1st with a $150 enrollment deposit (Possible fee waiver).

CAMP Mandatory Potential Student Overview (April)

  • All potential students must attend CAMP Overview with their parents to be considered for the program.

CSUSM Mandatory Freshman Orientation (June)

  • All potential CAMP students must register to attend to a priority CSUSM Freshman Orientation through CAMP starting in April (Possible fee deferment).

Final High School Grades (CAMP Priority: Late June)

  • All potential students must send an additional copy of final grades to the CAMP Office (e.g. unofficial high school transcript, report card, student portal report, etc.)

Final Official High School Transcript (CAMP Priority: July 1st)

  • Start requesting official transcripts to be mailed to CSUSM as soon as you graduate between May - June.

Other Reminders

AP Exams:

  • CAMP encourages students to take AP Exams, scores with a 3 or higher may receive college credit by sending official scores to CSUSM.
