The Career
Center staff welcomes you back to CSUSM!
We hope you had a wonderful winter break.
We take this
opportunity to remind you the Career Center is here for you too.
We have several resources and services available to assist you
with your students.
Career
Center Website:
Our website is very user friendly and contains a
section specifically designed to meet the needs of
faculty and staff. It also includes a web based
program,
Perfect Interview, to help students polish their interviewing skills.
CougarJOBS is also where you
can post Student Assistant/Federal Work Study or internship
opportunities for students. Your CSUSM email address is your
username, then click on the 'Forgot Password' button to have a
temporary, auto-generated password immediately emailed to you.
Call the Career Center at 760-750-4900 should you have any
questions about posting online positions.
Class
presentations:
Are you interested
in having someone talk to your students about career options or
choosing a major? Graduate school options? Or how to begin the
job search process? We would love to present in your class in
any of the
topics listed below
or a topic you feel may be of interest to your class. If you are
unable to spare a full class time, we would be happy to do a
short 5 - 10 minute overview of services. If
interested, please contact your college liaison:
College of Arts & Sciences:
Kerry Shannon,
Interim Career Counselor (x4967)
College of Business Administration:
Pam Wells,
Associate Director (x4892)
College of Education:
Diana Sanchez,

On-Campus Recruiting (OCR):
OCR
is a program that brings students one step
closer to employers. This program facilitates the job search
process by coordinating
interviews on our campus. A list of employers recruiting on
campus is available
through
