Alumni Career Counseling and Major Exploration
Individual counseling and advising sessions are one hour appointments with a Career Counselor. These appointments can help you with:
- Career and major exploration through self-assessment and decision making exercises
- Assessment of skills, interests, personality traits and values
- Exploration of graduate school options
- Developing job search strategies
- Resources for exploring the world of work
- Interviewing skills through Mock Interviews
- Skills such as letter writing, resume writing, networking
- Salary and benefit negotiation
Alumni who belong to the CSUSM Alumni Association are entitled to a one hour career counseling appointment. Additional appointments required a $25 fee per appointment.
