| HOME | Contract Bargaining Begins April 2005 The CFA Bargaining Team http://www.calfac.org/bargainteam.html will meet for the first time with CSU bargaining representatives Thursday, April 28 to begin negotiations on a successor Unit 3 contract. The current contract expires June 30, but under the Higher Education Employer Employee Relations Act (HEERA) it will remain in effect during bargaining if an agreement is not reached by that date until the statutory process is completed. Among the key issues CFA's bargaining team hopes to address are: salary increases; improvements in grievance procedures to stop the delay practices of the administration; improved working conditions; and contract language about Year Round Operations.
