Years at CSUSM? 6 months
What is your short term goal? Get home under an hour from work every day (I live in Temecula).
What is your long term goal? To live a long and happy life. Maybe not a long as my grandmother who lived until she was 105 years old.
What is your greatest accomplishment (personal or professional)? Working on the Space Shuttle Program at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida for 23 years was a tremendous privilege. It was very gratifying to be part of a team/family that worked so hard to accomplish one goal, human spaceflight. Space Shuttle launches and landings were magnificent rewards.
What is favorite movie? Les Misérables, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Love Affair, and lots more.
What is your favorite food? Mexican, Dots and Peeps.
What is your favorite book? Anything James Patterson; murder mystery.
What are your hobbies? Reading and fishing.
Tell us about your family: I have been married to my wonderful husband Mike for 22 years. We have 2 sons, Mason 21 years and Aubrey 18 years old, and our sweet daughter, Halena 7 years old.
What is the proudest/happiest moment of your life? Giving birth to my children.
What is your favorite thing about working at CSUSM? I like being around all the excited new faces every day and being able to help the instructors and students.
What would you like to do when you retire? Travel and enjoy my future grandchildren.
Who is the most famous person you ever met? Lucille Ball and Woody Harrison.
