Years at CSUSM? 11 months

What is your short term goal? To finish my first half marathon next month in under 2.5 hours.  Yikes.

What is your long term goal? To live a life that makes my family proud and to make sure and do the things that will leave me with no regrets.

What is your greatest accomplishment (personal or professional)? Studying and working abroad.

What is favorite movie? The Departed. Memento.

What is your favorite food?  Indian.  And donuts.

What is your favorite book? I fall in love with new books all the time!  I recently read Horns by Joe Hill and loved it.  An old favorite is Man’s Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl.

What are your hobbies?  Reading, photography, running, traveling/planning fun trips.

Tell us about your family: I’m married to a wonderful British man and we have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel that we love with all of our hearts!  I can supply photos on demand. :-)  We have 4 nephews under 6 that are just the sweetest (most of the time).  I have one older brother and he is the best.  Family is everything!

What is the proudest/happiest moment of your life? Wedding day!

What is your favorite thing about working at CSUSM? So many things.  I love that my job allows me to meet and work with interesting people, the great co-workers, and I really like working with and being around the students…they are so respectful, helpful and enthusiastic.

What would you like to do when you retire? Travel the world.  I’d also love to foster dogs, but we would have to buy a place with a lot of land as I would probably want to keep them all.

Who is the most famous person you ever met? The Lawrence Brothers.  Think Joey from the show “Blossom.”  I have some work to do there. :-)  I think I can say Dolores Huerta soon!
