CCF provides childcare and preschool education to children from six weeks to five years old with low teacher-student ratios. The center's research-based curriculum, guided discovery, is focused on play, which means that children learn through stimulating and age-appropiate games and activities.

The Vision of the Cal State San Marcos Police Department is to be the finest police agency of its kind. The Department operates 24 hours a day, seven days week, year round. There is always a trained emergency dispatcher on duty to answer calls, and professional police officers on duty to respond to calls for assistance.

Information and services are provided to military veterans and their dependents in obtaining VA educational benefits for which they are eligible in the Veterans Center located in Craven Hall 3724 or in Outreach Programs located in Craven 3300. Veterans Services is a One-Stop shop for continuing and new veterans to the CSUSM campus.
Palomar Center for Behavioral Health meets the diverse and complex psychiatric and mental health needs of adults (18 years and older) and seniors with a comprehensive range of services. They include crisis intervention, inpatient care, intensive outpatient services, and detoxification services.

Center for Community Solutions (CCS) helps more than 30,000 adults and children each year to heal and prevent relationship and sexual violence. CCS operates the rape crisis center in the city of San Diego along with a countywide 24-hour bilingual crisis helpline. They also provide emergency domestic violence shelters, hospital and court accompaniment, as well as legal and counseling services for those affected by rape, domestic violence, and elder abuse. CCS also works with local community groups and schools to provide innovative prevention programs to promote healthy relationships and peaceful communities.
Choose Civility is an ongoing community-wide initiative, led by Howard County Library, to position Howard County in Maryland as a model of civility. The project intends to enhance respect, empathy, consideration and tolerance. It is a model of civility based on a solid mission, goals and principles supported and encouraged by its community.
The National Civility Center is a not-for-profit organization established in 2000 to help people make their communities better places to live. We believe that a comprehensive approach to community improvement - one that engages all local stakeholders around shared ideas and a unified plan for action - can help community members and organizations become more effective at solving tough social issues.
