The Advisory Council for the College of Arts and Sciences (CoAS) is a group of community leaders, knowledgeable in their respective areas of arts and sciences, which will guide and advise the College regarding the feasibility and desirability of its strategic plans for growth into the 21st Century. The Council has no legal authority for administering the affairs of the College, but may be asked to recommend actions that further the mission and direction of the University and the College.
