Measured by: An oral exam in GBM 425 that tests the above concepts to ensure an understanding of those elements and by a pre- and post-test covering this foundational knowledge. |

Demonstrate an ability to apply the content area related to their chosen track. Measured by: Participating in an experience related to the student’s track:

Demonstrate functionality in all four skills (listening comprehension, writing, reading and speaking) of a second language. Measured by: Passing the Berlitz or our on-campus language exam in the foreign language lab. |

Demonstrate a good understanding of your personal competencies related to working effectively across cultures and to have a development plan to improve those competencies. Measured by: Taking the GCI or IES at the beginning of the GBM program and in your their last semester or after their GBM 497 experience; also by the development plan incorporated into GBM 426. |
