Global Supply Chain Management
The GSCM option teaches students how to perform typical tasks of a supply chain manager, such as:
- Designing and managing the relationships that keep products moving on the global playing field
- Discover consumer insight and create products that include planning how they are made and get to market, what materials are used and where they are purchased, how many products should be produced, where they are warehoused, and how they are marketed and shipped to best satisfy consumer demand
For our students job opportunities are plentiful in exciting business areas such as retail, business consulting, import/export, and manufacturing. Examples include:
- Supply Chain Analyst
- Procurement Manager
- Logistics Planner
- Demand Planner
- Category Manager
- Business Development Manager
