New Venture Management & Marketing
New Venture Management and New Venture Marketing are open to all CoBA students who have attained Business Major status, e.g. have successfully completed all lower division Pre-Business Core coursework. You do not have to take both courses. Separate enrollment is available for each one.
ENTR 421—New Venture Management (2 units)
This course examines the management challenges inherent in starting a new venture: human resources, physical resources and materials sourcing, fundamentals of negotiation, regulatory processes, and business formation.
ENTR 420—New Venture Marketing (2 units)
This course probes the critical marketing activities of a new venture; identifying potential consumers, researching their needs, creating products/services they want, developing an interactive communication process, and delivering the products/services...on a limited budget.
