Why am I not on the CoBA Dean's List?

For business students only. All other majors should contact their respective college.

If you wonder why you are not on the CoBA Dean's List, but feel you have met the criteria, please complete the following and an investigation will be opened.

Criteria:

  • Completed a minimum of 12 units of graded (A, B, C, D, F) Cal State San Marcos coursework
  • Earned at least a 3.5 grade point average (semester GPA, not cumulative GPA)

Other:

  • The Dean's List is only generated for the Fall and Spring semesters (CSUSM Extended Learning classes are not eligible)
  • GPAs are not rounded (up or down)
  • Classes taken for credit/no credit do not count toward the Dean's List GPA (see first bullet item under Criteria above)
  • Grade changes done after grades are processed (Academic Standing captured) do not necessarily make a student eligible for inclusion on the Dean's List
