Post-Harvest Management is the next session in CSUSM's Vineyard Management Series. The sessions have all been led by instructors from CSU Fresno's Viticulture & Enology Department. The Fresno State Winery has won over 500 medals at commercial wine tastings, including over 100 "Super" awards--Best of Show, Best of Region, Best of Class, etc.

The instructors for Post-Harvest Management are Dr. Sanliang Gu and Dr. Sonet Van Zyl. Dr Gu's areas of expertise include fruit quality improvement, plant nutrition, plant-water relations, cold hardiness, cultivar evaluation, trellis systems and canopy management. Dr. Van Zyl's areas of expertise include table and raisin grape production and marketing, cultivar development and evaluation, grapevine and rootstock breeding for improved quality and pest and disease resistance, industry focused research for California's table grape and raisin industries.
