Introduction
Bennett Cherry (PhD, The University of Arizona) is Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship and Department Chair (Management & Marketing) at California State University San Marcos. His major areas of research include nascent entrepreneurs, service delivery strategy, employee engagement, and humility and trust in leadership. His research has been presented at international conferences and published in numerous academic and practitioner-oriented journals. In his consultancy, Dr. Cherry works with organizations to assess, diagnose, and repair workplace climate issues. Dr. Cherry is also an active board member of various local not-for-profits and serves as a member on the CSUSM Foundation's Finance & Investments Committee.
