Introduction
Syed K. Zaidi is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at California State University San Marcos. He earned his Ph.D. in International Business from the University of Texas at El Paso. Syed also holds an MBA in Accounting from California State University San Bernardino, a BS in Finance from California State University Long Beach, a BBA in Business Administration from the University of Peshawar Pakistan, and a DCS in Software Engineering from Petroman Training Institute Pakistan. While pursuing his doctorate degree, Syed taught numerous accounting courses, including financial and managerial accounting, at the University of Texas at El Paso. He also received a UTEP Certificate of College Teaching in 2011. Syed’s current research interests include the impact of IFRS adoption on the global economy.
