
CoBA Student Ambassadors are undergraduate students in the College of Business Administration that volunteer their time to act as official hosts in representing the College at public events. Student Ambassadors help strengthen the connection between the College of Business Administration and the local business community.
What are the benefits of being a Student Ambassador?
Ambassadors benefit by having opportunities to practice important communication skills at professional business events. Ambassadors also benefit by being involved in their college and networking with their peers. In addition, upon successful completion of their year as a Student Ambassador, students can submit their participation information to the Student Life and Leadership Office for inclusion on their Tukwut Transcript.
What are the requirements to be a Student Ambassador?
The requirements are to be on good academic standing, have a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher, and display leadership characteristics through involvement in other extracurricular activities.
How do I become a Student Ambassador?
The College of Business Administration is currently recruiting ambassadors for the 2009-2010 academic year! To apply, please complete the Student Ambassador On-line Application by October 1st (fall) or February 1st (spring). What will be required if I am selected to be a Student Ambassador?
Student ambassadors are required to attend a training session and commit to being an ambassador for the academic year.
