COE Faculty Search Announcement
Educational Administration & Leadership
The search in Educational Administration & Leadership has been concluded. The College of Education is pleased to announce that Dr. Carol Van Vooren has accepted the Educational Administration faculty position with the College of Education. Carol is currently serving as principal in Carlsbad Unified School District. Her research focus is on data-driven decision-making related to change as process for transformation. Carol has demonstrated her teaching skills and talents as an adjunct faculty member for the College of Education. Her interests and experiences are focused on high levels of student achievement for all children and youth. Her leadership through multicultural and multilingual opportunities for today's teachers and school leaders are evident in her school and the courses she has taught for COE. Carol taught EDML 553 and 554 as part of the Mexico cohort for BCLAD; she taught EDUC 364; and has supervised student teachers from the COE.
Subject to funding approval, information regarding any faculty search that might be conducted during 2009-10 will be posted here approximately Mid-November to early December 2009. Please check back for any update.
