Welcome family, friends, and guests to the 2013 Commencement Ceremonies!
****We strongly recommend that you do not bring any type of bag, backpack, duffle bag, etc to the event. All bags are subject to search which may result in delays entering the venue****
The 2013 Commencement Guide will provide you with all of the important information you need to know to attend Commencement!
The 2013 Commencement Ceremonies will take place on campus of California State University San Marcos. Ceremonies will begin promptly at 10:30 am or 4:30 pm on Friday, May 17, 2013 and 9:30 am or 3:00 pm on Saturday, May 18, 2013. There is ample guest seating so tickets are not required. Keep in mind that traffic will be heavy surrounding the campus. Please allow adequate time for travel and parking!
Family and friends will enter campus from Twin Oaks Valley Road to Craven Drive and asked to park in Lot B, C, X, Y & Z . All guest seating will be in direct sunlight with no shade available however, the weather in May is unpredictable. Please check the weather for Commencement weekend and dress appropriately.
Ceremony times are expected to run approximately 2 to 2.5 hours. If you have lunch or dinner reservations, allow at least 1.5 to 2 hours after each ceremony to give yourself time to meet your graduate, take photos, get back to your vehicles and exit from the parking lot.
