Please note: We have reached our capacity of volunteers for the Friday morning ceremony and we encourage all staff interested in volunteering to sign up for either Friday afternoon or all day Saturday.
Thank you for participating in this year's Commencement Ceremony on Friday, May 17, and/or Saturday, May 18, 2013! Your role is a critical component in making the celebration for our students' accomplishments a success. Please fill out the form below. This information will allow us to coordinate staff participation and send you updates about Commencement. Staff volunteers are requested to fill out the below form by April 10, 2013. Thank you again for your participation.
Commencement Staff are expected to be on duty 1 1/2 hours prior to the ceremony.
Refreshments:
Refreshments will be provided on-site for Commencement Staff.
Compensation:
It is the responsibility of the employee's unit, per the respective collective bargaining agreement (e.g., for non-exempt employees, either by cash compensation, compensatory time off or adjusting the employee's regular work schedule within the work week in which Commencement is held). Please contact HREO if you have questions.
Approvals:
Supervisor must approve staff member's request to work the event to ensure authorization for overtime compensation (if appropriate).
Parking:
Parking is complimentary in Parking Structure 1
