Dr. Amy M. Corey holds both Ph.D. and M.A. degrees in Communication from the University of Denver and a B.A. in Communication from the University of San Francisco. She is dedicated to the intellectual life and is passionate about sharing ideas in the classroom and engaging students. She teaches and writes about issues of diversity and social justice especially as communicated in popular culture. Her work has been published in The Business of Entertainment, The Development of Human Communication, Texas Speech Communication Journal, and in numerous encyclopedias.
