Students with Courses Completed at Other Institutions

Students should first check  www.assist.org to see if there is an articulation agreement with the institution to validate completion of appropriate course. If the institution is not listed students must meet with their designated Communication faculty advisor for alternative course approval (see: http://www.csusm.edu/communication/student/advising.html for student-faculty assignments).  Students must present for faculty review the course description and course syllabus.  Approved course substitutions will show in the student’s Degree Progress Report in 5-10 working days; students are encouraged to meet with their faculty advisor well in advance of the University’s registration period to avoid any registration delays.
