Zoom:
Zooming in the timeline helps you see your whole project and allows one to see individual clips up close for smaller edits. By resizing the horizontal scroll bar (click on the handles and drag left or right), one can zoom in and out of one's project. There is also a zoom slider to the left of the horizontal scroll which will also allow one to zoom in and out ot a timeline.
