Before opening Final Cut Pro (FCP), make a folder in the COMM Drive. The COMM Drive is an internal hard drive that is dedicated to storage of all Communication projects.
If you haven't already, create a new folder in the COMM Drive so you will have your own area to save your project files.
Open FCP. 
∴Please note that this tutorial is designed for general editing on Final Cut Pro machines in ACD 403.
