Introduction

Hello and welcome to the CSUSM Copyright Issues web pages. These pages were created and are being maintained to give you the best information we have regarding the application of U.S. copyright laws in the work faculty, staff, and students do here at CSUSM.

Website Goals

There is a lot of information on this website, including sections on:

  2. FAQs and Links - this section answers commonly asked questions and contains links to useful sites elsewhere on the web.
  3. Permissions - this section, maintained by the CSUSM Library, tells you about how to get permission to use copyrighted materials.
  4. Education - this is where you will find the materials necessary to pass the exams leading to copyright certification for faculty and staff as required by CSUSM copyright policies.
  5. Discussion - in this area you will find online discussions in which you can pose and discuss issues related to copyright with members of the CSUSM Copyright Team and others interested in this area.
