Applying for Graduation

When to apply 

• Graduate students are required to apply for graduation in the term in which they expect to complete their degree requirements (Summer graduates apply in the prior Spring term). 
• Application start date/deadline by semester

How to apply 

• Log-in to your Student Center on MyCSUSM
• Locate the Apply for Graduation field
• Follow the prompts and select the appropriate term for graduation

To Cancel Your Application for Graduation

• Send an email to registrar@csusm.edu from your campus email with the subject line - GRADUATION CANCELLATION
• In the body of the email include
  • Your name
  • Student ID
  • Graduation term which you are cancelling
  • Term you wish to reapply for
  • Registration date for upcoming term, if needed
