Three Reasons to Join CSEA
Bargaining
Your right to reclassification, protection against arbitrary dismissal, schedules and working hours, are all negotiated in a collective bargaining agreement.
The quality of your contract depends on your participation. Joining the Union means standing up and being counted. Union members are connected with the fight for better working conditions, the restoration of service pay, cost of living increases.
When CSEA negotiates with the Chancellor and the Trustees, we are proud to point to our union membership as a sign that employees are engaged in the process. Whether it’s contributing proposals, participating as team members or witnesses, or carrying a picket sign, members make the difference in bargaining.
