Programs
Computerized career assessments help you explore your values, skills and interests and compare them to various occupations. STRONG Interest Inventory, Meyers-Briggs (MBTI), Choices CT and Personal Career Development Profile (16PF) are available in the Career Resource Lab. Talk to a Career Counselor to find out which will be best for you!
Graduate School Information Our office provides graduate school advising, catalogs, testing information and workshops. Choices CT and several graduate school websites can assist you with your graduate school research. Also, check out our Graduate and Professional School Information site.
Job Listings All currently enrolled CSUSM students and registered alumni have access to the online job listings!  24-hours a day you can access full-time and part-time, temporary and seasonal jobs, internships, student assistant and federal work study positions through CougarTRAK. (Your password is your student ID number).
Workshops and Seminars Career workshops are presented throughout the year on Job Search Strategies, Effective Interviewing, Resume Writing, Graduate/Professional School Information, Business Etiquette and more!
Professional Career Counseling Individual appointments can be scheduled with career counselors for career exploration, mock interviews, job search techniques and general career guidance.
Career Library Resources A variety of career-related materials are available in our Career Resource Lab including video/audio tapes, business directories, company profiles, annual reports, books, periodicals, journals and newspapers.

Resume/Interview Services for Employers (RISE) Graduating seniors and alumni are eligible to interview with employers who come to campus to offer career positions in diverse fields. The recruitment period takes place after the job fairs which give students an opportunity to speak with prospective employer representatives prior to scheduled interviews. Stop by our office for more information!

Candidates are required to register in advance for RISE.
